Spring has sprung and it's time to add a few pieces to transition into summer. I have always been a huge advocate for buying items that can be worn more than one way, bonus if it can be taken into another season. Here are a few items I purchased to take me into the warmer months.
Ribbed Knit Top
I have been searching for a ribbed knit tank top that didn't break the bank. I could see this being a staple layering piece for all seasons. I truly did not have high hopes for this one because you never know what amazon will give you. This one was a pleasant surprise.
It hangs really well on the body and is very comfortable. I usually order a large in tops like these but ordered a medium in this one, I'm glad I did. It is the perfect relaxed fit.
I am also wearing a nude bra underneath.

Tie Dye Kimono

LOVE IT to put it simply. This one comes in a ton of other colors and prints. So lightweight, perfect for summer to wear like this or as a swimsuit cover up. I'm wearing a large.
I paired it with the top I previously talked about and these shorts from Target (size 12). These shorts have been such a winner already, they have great length between your thighs and on the booty but are tapered on the sides to elongate the leg!
Also snagged these sandals from Walmart! Come in 3 other styles and only $13!
Linen Shorts

I have been on the hunt for a pair of shorts that weren't denim but weren't an athletic short. If you're like me, shorts are just a NO sometimes because of the heat + thick thighs. These are so roomy and comfortable (wearing a large). I will say that these are a lot more coral in person than in the picture (typical Amazon). These do come in other colors as well!
I have also been loving the scarf trend. There are so many ways to wear it // I'll show you how to make it into a top further down!
White Shorts

I wouldn't wear this outfit together, but I did want to give you an idea of the color difference. The ribbed knit top is more of an off-white while the shorts are a true stark white.
These shorts are from the same retailer as then coral, but are a different style / material. They are on the thicker side but not quite denim. I'm wearing a large in these as well.
Again, they are not as relaxed as they look in the picture on Amazon but are still cute and definitely a keeper!
Scarf Top

Making your scarf into a top is circulating the internet and I'm here for it. Definitely giving me early 2000's vibes but it's such a simple way to get more use out of an accessory. All you need to do is fold the scarf into a triangle, knot the corners, feed a necklace through it, and tie it in the back.
I paired it with my favorite white skinny jeans and clear wedges. This would be perfect for a date night or on a tropical vacation.
Comfortable Romper

Throw-on-and-go outfits are my favorite for running errands or travel. Like I've said before, you never know what you're going to get with Amazon, so I was skeptical when ordering this one. This one was another pleasant surprise. I love the soft cotton material and the functional drawstring. It hangs on the body really well and has a cute key-hole tie on the back.
Date Night Ruffle Top

It wouldn't be a try-on session of mine without something smocked! As someone with a larger chest, finding dainty or flirty tops can be hard. I love smocked tops because the amount of stretch is endless while still preserving your shape. I went ahead and got a medium in this one and it gets perfectly. This one is a chiffon material!

Just look how cute these straps are! I've also been wearing these earrings on repeat, they are so fun and oversized!
I have saved my try-on to my story highlights under Amazon!
